Yael Ron
Yael Ron is the Chief Hospitality Officer for Silverstein Properties and is responsible for managing the company’s hospitality and residential divisions.
An acclaimed hospitality executive, she has successfully led hotels across the globe, from Tel Aviv to San Francisco to New York. Prior to joining Silverstein, Yael served as Managing Director of the Leading Hotels of the World (LHW) Fifth Avenue Hotel in New York, where she oversaw all operational aspects including recruiting of the core team, curating the brand culture, and managing the business plan, budget, and all marketing channels. Before that, she was the General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton San Francisco, where she became the property’s first female general manager and one of only nine female general managers in The Ritz-Carlton portfolio.
Yael spent nearly a decade with The Ritz-Carlton company, where she was the General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland and Director of Sales and Marketing for the opening of The Ritz-Carlton, Herzliya. In addition, she facilitated the opening of The Ritz-Carlton in Macau, China. Prior to joining The Ritz-Carlton company in 2013, Yael worked at The Intercontinental Hotel in Tel Aviv following a decade with Hilton Hotels, where she began her hospitality career as a Senior Sales Manager.
Yael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hotel Management from Technion Israel & Nova University, Florida, and an MBA from City University of New York, Baruch College. She is fluent in several languages, having lived, studied, and worked in countries and continents around the world, including the United States, Central America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
